TEHRAN – In a tweet on Sunday that coincided with Nature Day, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said protecting environment has been part of the “rich Iranian culture”.
The Iranian chief diplomat also said that countering “global environmental challenges entails collective cooperation of governments, international bodies and participation of all citizens.”
Farvardin 13, also called Sizdeh Bedar or Nature Day fell on April 2. The day marks the end of the Iranian New Year holidays.
