TEHRAN – Iranian Navy Commander Shahram Irani said on Sunday that the great military capability of the Islamic Republic is a proven fact in the world.
“The promotion of defense capability has brought power to the Islamic Republic and today this power has been proven to the world,” Rear Admiral Irani told a Quran reading ceremony attended by a number of navy officials and ordinary citizens in Sirjan, Kerman province.
The navy chief went on to say that “we (the navy) are followers of martyr Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani” and this has promoted the defense capability of Iran.
The rear admiral also said the Iranian warships have “no fear of threats” in open seas.
