Iranian ambassador hails Iraqi parliament’s ban on normalization of relations with Zionist regime

Al-e Sadeq said that the passing of the law was a “historic and prideful” decision.

The decision by the Iraqi Parliament was a new prideful episode of the series of courageous stands of the Iraqi people in relation to decisive issues of the Muslim Ummah, the ambassador said.

A vast majority of the 275 Iraqi lawmakers present at the Parliament session on Thursday voted in favor of the law.

After the approval of the law, the Iraqi Members of Parliament chanted “No to Israel”.
