He said it revealed only a “small section of the great and expansive missile capability” possessed by Iran.
Footage from the state’s broadcaster revealed a multitude of rows of missiles stashed at the facility.
The leader of the Revolutionary Guards’ naval unit said the site was equipped to detect enemy signals.
This includes radar, monitoring, simulation, and disruption systems.
Iran has one of the largest missile programmes in the Middle East.
To counter this threat, Israel has constructed its Iron Dome project.
This development is led by the Israel Missile Defense Organization (IMDO) alongside defence contractors such as Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, ELTA, and mPrest.
Defense Minister Benny Gantz said: “The technological capabilities developed by defence industries, including the Iron Dome and the multi-tier missile defence array, are central to the defence of the State of Israel
“In the face of emerging and rapidly changing threats, these new capabilities provide the political echelon and defence establishment with the operational flexibility that is critical to our national security.
“I would like to thank the IMDO and Rafael engineering teams, thanks to them, the citizens of Israel can sleep peacefully at night.”
